Sight of VitrineMedia’s screens gets sound of phone ringing for BME Group
John Zhu remembers the moment well – and with a good deal of fondness.
It was about two years ago on a particularly pleasant winter’s evening. He had returned from a busy day at the office as General Manager of Sydney-based property sales and management company, BME Group, and was just about to sit down to a late dinner when his mobile phone lit up.
The number didn’t register but being in sales and with expertise in business management, his philosophy was never to reject a call as it could just be ‘that one’. And it was…
“The chap on the other end of the line said he was standing outside our Wentworth Point office mesmerised by our new VitrineMedia static backlit LED screens. He shared how brilliant all the properties looked in the cold white light and how he had been walking by when subconsciously drawn to the glow,” says John.
“He also told me he was keen to catch up at the earliest opportunity as he had his eye on a certain property in the window and wanted to see it ‘in the flesh’ with a view to putting forward an offer.”
John and his customer duly met, they toured the property, it lived up to expectation and an offer was made – and accepted by the seller.
“That all happened within a few days of our VitrineMedia window display going in and it immediately told me that, even in this electronic age of websites and social media, attractive and appealing window displays have their place in today’s competitive real estate sector.”
“In fact, that call – and the many others that followed and continue to come in as a result of our window display – vindicated my view of just how important their role is in our overall marketing mix and in our desire to not only retain but strengthen our position as an industry leader in Sydney’s property sales, property management and building management business.”
“We know our VitrineMedia screens are attracting more potential buyers and sellers, we understand they are increasing our exposure not only during the day but after hours, we appreciate they are helping to create brand awareness and recognise their power in building our long-term brand reputation.”
John has since backed his words with action by installing the VitrineMedia products at the company’s Hurstville and Zetland offices in April and July respectively. Plans are also afoot to attend to the windows at BME Group’s office in the Sydney CBD and to add to the display at Wentworth Point.
The total current installation comprises nine A4 screens at Wentworth Point office, 18 A4 screens at Hurstville and a further 16 A4 screens at Zetland, and reflects the stylish layouts created by VitrineMedia’s New South Wales South Region Manager Delon Magua to deliver balance and appeal and maximise impact.
John is also full of praise for Delon and his role in the success of the project and describes him as someone who is “of immense value not only to VitrineMedia but to the clients he looks after.”
“Throughout the process, he has been both professional and helpful – and always willing to offer suggestions in our best interests. He also has a flair for the creative, coming up with window displays with wow factor.”
“And my advice anyone considering installing window displays is simply this: If you can find a better product, backed by a better team, I say buy it.”
“But I also say you’ll be hard pressed to beat the customer service and attention provided by Delon Magua and his team, not to mention the brilliant though user-friendly and low maintenance VitrineMedia screens.”
