It’s just not cricket when VitrineMedia LED screens are on the side of Leading Real Estate Sunbury!
The outer north-western Melbourne suburb of Sunbury has long been known as the ‘Birthplace of The Ashes’, with history telling us that when the English tourists of 1882 played a social game of cricket against the local team, the landlady of the estate burnt one or more bails, placed the ashes in a velvet pouch and presented them to the English captain, Ivo Bligh.
“Take these,” she is reported to have said, “and use them as a perpetual trophy for matches between our two countries.” Bligh obliged, the remains were later placed in a small urn and the rest is history, with The Ashes becoming an iconic sporting trophy.
Almost a century-and-a-half on, Sunbury is poised to take on another moniker, this time ‘The Domain of Leading Real Estate Sunbury’ given the award-winning independently owned and operated business’ impressive domination of the suburb since its establishment in 2014.
And while there’s no doubting that the sincerity and integrity of owner and director Adam Sacco and his team has elevated the company to a position where – in a cluttered and highly competitive field of 12 real estate agencies – it holds a commanding 21 percent market share, the jury suggests that another team member, VitrineMedia and its backlit LED screens, has played a key secondary role in the success story.
“When we started out five years ago, we were the new kids on the block and largely unknown,” recalls Adam, who gave up a promising career as a chef at some of the city’s fine dining venues to work more sociable hours as married life came along, and with it two young children.
“We needed to make a statement that personified professionalism and suggested an innovative and exciting approach to marketing our clients’ properties – and in VitrineMedia we found the perfect partner, both in terms of technology and the people.
“We started with 12 A3 screens, six in our two main windows, and immediately experienced the power of the VitrineMedia product in elevating our exposure to the next level, enhancing our chosen image, raising our profile and cementing our reputation as a thoroughly professional organisation.”
It’s a testament to the backlit LED screens’ contribution to Leading Real Estate Sunbury’s spectacular growth that when Adam found he had more properties to market than screens in which to display them, he again turned to VitrineMedia, adding a further six A3 screens to a third window.
And when just six months ago Leading Real Estate Sunbury had outgrown its premises and was fortuitously able to expand into the adjacent office, Adam made another call to VitrineMedia’s Victorian state manager Mark Carrick requesting an additional 12 A3 screens.
“We now have a total of 30 VitrineMedia A3 screens across five windows, their brilliant cold white light shining bright and working day and night to spread our messages and capture the attention of the large number of pedestrians who pass by as they either head to or alight from metro trains at the nearby station or simply go about their shopping.
“Our window display represents a substantial investment but given the exceptional service we have received from Mark Carrick, along with the low maintenance and high performance of the VitrineMedia screens, we believe it has been money well spent…and money we will happily spend again when growth cries out for more screens,” adds Adam.
Howzat?
Pretty impressive, with no need to refer the decision to the real estate industry’s equivalent of the third umpire!
