When Ray White Kurrajong principal Katherina Adams and her husband Gavin decided their ideal location on a busy thoroughfare needed sprucing up, they sat down and compiled a wish list that, even by their estimations, they readily concede could best be described as demanding.

They wanted sleek and tidy backlit LED signage that made the business’ shopfront stand out like a beacon, head and shoulders above anything on display in neighbouring windows. It also had to be a top-quality product that was user-friendly and robust – and came with minimal ongoing maintenance requirements. 

And, of course, its running costs needed to be nominal. Throw in an overall price that was competitive and the Adams’ would feel they had found the desired solution.

“We have been running Ray White Kurrajong as a family business since we purchased it in mid-2016 and as our mission is to always strive to provide our vendors and buyers with the best, we knew our windows needed to reflect that message,” says Katherina.

“And in VitrineMedia Australia and the company’s Sydney-based CEO, Mike Toweel, we found a group very much in synch with us.”

Within days of reaching out to VitrineMedia via its website, Katherina and Gavin were sitting down with Mike Toweel, being taken through window designs that would provide the most impactful impression.

They eventually settled for two large panoramic banners and 30 A3 screens, the former to share the warm and engaging lifestyle, community and family messaging and the latter to carry property cards.

“Mike was authenticity personified in offering advice and opinions, even if it meant he would end up selling us less screens,” recalls Katherina, adding that the softer, personal messaging intertwined with the pure property displays appealed to her feminine side – and if the first few months post-installation are a gauge, the public agrees.

“Just about everyone who has commented has said how amazing our shopfront looks, how spectacular the transformation has been,” continues Katherina, showering praise on the VitrineMedia installer who she says tackled the task in one day, working around a number of hurdles presented by the window frames’ construction and delivering a level of workmanship more akin to bygone eras.

“Our window display has gone from difficult to read, especially at night, to the brightest by both day and night – and we know this transformation lies behind the fact that many more people are now attracted to our windows, where they stop and browse through our listings.”

Katherina and Gavin have also used VitrineMedia’s in-house graphic design and printing service to create additional inserts and are equally glowing in their praise of this offering, with the artwork and printed material of high quality and the turnaround time impressive.
